San Francisco Fun

San Francisco delivered excellent weather for our walking tour.  Monday was a gorgeous sunny day, which was fortunate because had it been dreary I would have been really miserable.  As it was I was under-dressed, due to not thinking ahead enough to follow our own directions about what to wear.  We had the lovely surprise of Marcia joining our little group but the younger Stevensons and Alicia decided to go their own way.  They managed to snap some fabulous photos in a remarkably short period of time.  I’d always known that SF had signs with COLE, SCOTT, and STEVENSON, but they managed to find more.  I’m not sure who the “hawkeye” of the bunch was, but I was definitely impressed.

Meanwhile, the older set was soaking in some San Francisco history as we made our way up Market street.  I just love those SF City Guides tours!

We had a tasty lunch, albeit cold, since they no longer offer indoor seating, at crepe o’ chocolate.  I discovered their drinkable chocolate and promptly said my thanks that a trip across the bay bars me from more frequent episodes of indulgence.  Angelina is still the best, but in lieu of a transatlantic trip, this stuff will do.

After that, we managed to get a few more circles stitched on our canopy and we readied ourselves for a big day of preparations.
